mellowtigger | anticipating frost

This coming week, Minneapolis is expecting to see nighttime temperatures below 4.5C/40F. Other parts of Minnesota will get frost. After my work shift ended today, I cut down the brush on the south side of my house so I could get to the water faucet, retrieve the water hoses, and turn off the basement valve that sends water to the outdoor faucet.

Afterward, I think I spent more time pulling burrs from my clothing than I did doing actual work outdoors. At least there's not much beggar's lice or burdock this year. I'm slowly banishing it from my yard.
