This guy warned me twice that they don't sell these ductless heat pumps as replacement heating systems, only supplemental, because of the cold weather limitation. It sounds like it doesn't have any fail over system to help provide heat, but that it just stops functioning. Not a "show stopper" problem for me, since I'm already accustomed to using electric blanket in a bitterly cold bedroom in mid-winter.
