lost painting

I'm starting off my "weekend" annoyed, unfortunately. I seem to have lost something important to me. It isn't the first time this has happened, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Maybe 20 years ago, I painted a poster that I liked. It depicted Earth as an egg sitting in space. It was meant to suggest that we needed to grow up and leave our incubation home.

I liked that painting. I wanted to go make a digital copy of it today, so I can have it forever and share it. It's not anywhere, though, that I expected it to be.

*sigh* I liked that painting.

Hmmm. It seems unlikely, but I suppose it's possible. It wouldn't be rolled up, though. It was stiff paper poster-sized. It'd be obvious what it is when you see it, though, Earth-colored egg-shaped planet in space. If you happen to spot it, I'd be very happy to get it back!
