I'm super late to the reply and followed a link in your recent post here. I was of course very interested in seeing a graphic with Germany on it but couldn't quite figure our how the the numbers came about. I only had a statistics post from the BKA (federal crime agency in Germany) to compare it to. It says that in 2018 42 people were fatally shot with a weapon in Germany. That's 0,05 per 100,000 residents. I don't think it was that different in 2011 so the rest must be suicides.
