In general, buddhism has a more peaceful history than other world religions. But, yeah, recent Sri Lanka and Myanmar insanity is.... well, eye-opening and disappointing. So much for buddhist superiority on the world stage.

Normally, I'd avoid religious associations for any government matter, but if the Supreme Court wants to make everything about (their) religion, then I'm willing to counter by using religion to abuse their favoritism. They started it; they should have to suffer their own hubris for mixing government and religion.
