I think that "solidarity marches" accomplish nothing. Except... they do get people of like mind together in one place to discuss one issue. That's a good breeding ground for brainstorming ways to do something that WILL be effective in changing the future.

So I guess I value them only for their possibilities, not for their actual effectiveness alone.
