I can't remember if I've officially added fatigue to my list of symptoms, so I'm doing it now.

Most days are fine.  I feel normal, although caffeine helps to get through a short 4-hour work day.  I've even gone out running.  Other days are not so great.  A few times, I've actually woken up feeling tired.

This last Saturday, it was raining so I only spent a few minutes outside gardening.  The rest of the day, I spent a whole 6 hours awake and playing computer games.  It was so exhausting that I crashed and slept for 3+ hours, even though I was supposed to be awake and on-call since I have the work pager.  I missed the start time for the first ever Twin Cities Bear Pride event.  I woke up lacking enthusiasm, though, so I skipped it.  Sunday was much the same.

Feeling better today, but I should also report an incident from about 3 weeks ago.  I came home from work around 5:30pm.  I sat down at the computer to catch up on email and news.  I noticed it got really dim, so I stood up and went to the window to see if there were thick clouds in the sky.  Nope, it was just sunset.  It was suddenly 8:30pm.  I'm guessing that I fell asleep sitting at the desk for 3 hours without warning.  Yuck.

About a week ago, there was another new thing that happened.  I usually sit on the couch all curled up to stay warm.  I uncurled at some point and discovered that for about 20 seconds I couldn't move my right foot or its toes.  I didn't get all tingly like I had cut off the blood supply and it needed to start circulating again.  I just couldn't move anything for a brief period.  Yuck, again.

"Come back when you're falling down," said the neurologist.  Can do.

Do you have a seizure disorder?
The worse thing to do is to freak-out about a health problem. Monitor it and see your doctor.
