My muscle twitches still have not returned to their "usual" level prior to my backpacking trip, although they're getting closer.

Tonight, I've got a muscle twitch on my scalp right beside the top of my left ear that's driving me bonkers.

When do you get them? Mine have been back somewhat sporadically during the day. I wonder if I'm a little sick. Pretty sure I'm over tired.

At any time of the day or night. This morning, there's a less noticeable twitch near my left eyebrow. I've definitely been more stressed than usual lately. (See this morning's post for why.)

Ever tried TENS therapy for them?

I looked up the term. I've had that sort of thing done a very long time ago during some chiropractic treatment. It would be interesting to see how these twitches respond to it.

I'm pretty sure that the muscles are twitching because of nerve signals rather than some biochemical issue within the muscle cells themselves. During the last torture session, I heard the electrical monitor make clicking noises that seemed timed to barely-noticeable sensations that I'm sure I was not causing voluntarily. What's causing those nerve signals, however, is anybody's guess.
