Furry Friday
2008-Dec-19, Friday 04:39 pmI like where I work. I can arrive early or stay late and spend my off-the-clock waiting time wandering around petting the critters. On good days, I park my car and walk to the front door while watching the happy people with goofy smiles carrying their new pet off to the car. On bad days though, like today, I park my car and walk to the front door watching a distraught person in tears rush away from the building after leaving their beloved family pet behind. *sigh* I'm confident, though, that the employees here will try their best to treat the animal well and get it into a new home safely. Last week alone, we saw 331 animals adopted out to new homes.
Our new website has gone live, and most of the production issues resolved. If you notice anything broken or out of place, feel free to leave a message here. I haven't done any of the programming or text writing on it, but I was responsible for the initial upload of most of the content. Blame me for typos, weird formatting, or bad links. :)

Not entirely related, we also have a YouTube account.

I include below a link to our short holiday video featuring an inquisitive (hungry) rabbit at a Christmas tree. Enjoy the music!

Remember to spay/neuter your family pet.
