2.5 weeks later

I still don't have the splinter out, but it doesn't hurt any more. It itches every once in a while, so I figure my body is beginning to dissolve the thing and it'll disappear eventually. I thought that leukocytes couldn't successfully attack anything larger than themselves, but maybe they have other chemical means at their disposal?

Life still seems hectic.  I'll be glad when the programming project at work is finally over and I can go back to only having one job to think about.  Even though the garden plants are coming in well now, I still feel like I'm being somehow unproductive.  Maybe just because I keep putting off the dna study, and the NoLAR conference, and probably other things that I'm forgetting right now.

I did, though, go bicycle riding with local Bears on Sunday morning.  I rode a few hours with them.  That was enjoyable.  I'm going to join them this coming Saturday night at a local drive-in theater to watch 3 movies.  I like the drive-in so I usually go out there alone.  Three movies for the price of one admission is a great deal, so I recommend it for other movie customers.
