about that trade war with China

I've been waiting on a new computer for nearly a decade now.  That computer system that I spec'd 1.5 years ago is already old technology.  I missed the X370 chipset as the X470 came out.  Now the X570 is here, and I'm waiting for the mini-ITX version of it to finally show up "on shelves".  News from last week suggests that it's almost at stores.  I keep checking the NewEgg website, but so far they don't have it in stock.

The big question is how this Trump-imposed trade war with China is going to affect motherboard prices.  I was expecting it to be about $220, but now, who knows?  Apparently some of the stupid taxes (trade tariffs are taxes) are being shifted from September to December, so maybe I'll be able to buy before prices go up.

Nope, my motherboard still isn't showing on NewEgg yet.  I hope I can buy it soon.
