the seasons change
2019-Oct-13, Sunday 02:37 pmI woke up yesterday morning with very noticeable snow on the ground. It had all melted an hour or two later when I finally decided to go take a photo. Then temperatures hovered around the freezing point all day. Air temperature was above freezing, but wind chill was below freezing. More sleet today, just a small amount occasionally.
I can already tell that the 2 new windows make a huge difference. That corner of the house is no longer chilling, compared to the rest of the main floor. I want more super-efficient windows eventually.
I went to work for much of today. Hopefully, it's the last of the "extra days" that I need to work to meet a November deadline for some computer conversions. I've put in quite a few unpaid days this year. It's a joy being exempt, isn't it? And part-time exempt, too. The work needed to be done, though.
Maybe this coming week, I'll finally start posting pictures from the recent protests (climate change, Trump rally) here in Minnesota. For now, I'm just spending my time destressing with computer games on my nice new computer system.
