another good day to stay indoors

The snowstorm blew through Minneapolis last night. It wasn't as bad as they had feared. I only had a few inches of snow, but there was an icy crust on the top layer after the main snow fell. That was unusual.

The temperature at the moment is -12C/9F air (-23C/-9F windchill). That wind is sharp. The forecast is for both temperatures to continue dropping through the day by several more degrees.

So it's a good day to stay at home.

In barely related news, my coworker sent me a new photo of Dominic in his new home, sleeping with his pack. He's adorable, as always.
