last snow of the season?

About one week ago, I was outside in -20C/-4F temperature shoveling snow from my sidewalk again.  I took a picture to post at the time, thinking it might be the last such snow of this winter season.  I hesitated, though, because I wondered if maybe I was being too optimistic.

Turns out, I was being too optimistic.  We had thunderstorms (which chased my cat into hiding) followed by snow last night.  A few locals reported thundersnow, but I don't think we had it at my house.  Thankfully, I didn't lose power here this time, like some people did.

I shoveled the snow this morning, about 10cm/4in this time.  Our total this year is still very noticeably less than we've had in previous years.

The forecast for Friday morning is -18C/-1F.  We're not done with winter yet in Minneapolis.
