I'm seeing a lot more union activity

Ever since you-know-who punched downward from the White House for 4 years, I've been seeing a whole lot more union activity. It's a good thing, too. It'll take people working together to resist entrenched plutocratic systems. I honestly have no clue what is propping up the USA economic system. By every trend I know, it should have collapsed a few years ago. I'll try to dig into whatever secret accounting is keeping this farce going. Another blog for another day.
Back in October, I saw this truck joining the crew who were building the high-rise apartments for rich people next door to where I work. These are truckers I can support. (versus those incomprehensible fans of you-know-who)

Today, the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers 59 union is still on strike, and they scheduled a demonstration at 1pm at the Minnesota state capitol in St. Paul. I drove out there to be one more body seen in support of their reasonable demands. They also have local demonstrations outside their schools, including this one about 7 blocks (as the crow flies) from my house. It was cold at -8C/17F with an annoying wind. I managed to get this one decent panorama photo and I uploaded a very brief YouTube video.
