a new dream record perhaps?
2022-Apr-02, Saturday 08:51 amI just had another dream. That's my 4th for this year and this month. Is that a new record for me? Is this what happens to my brain when I spend a month not having to wake up at a specific time? There's probably a research paper in there somewhere.
Anyway, it's already fading fast, but I was young again, college aged. I was attending some kind of conference with a lot of people in a very large facility. Many people were concerned about my "being alone" and tried to include me in their organizing activities for the event. Me being me, I wasn't stressed at being alone but was bothered by obligations to join so many other schedules. I did get to meet somebody's cat at one of these group planning sessions, although I don't remember much else about that encounter.
At another of these new duties, I went to visit a man who was staying in a room with his whole family. At this one, they were planning some kind of scavenger hunt. We discovered from the provided instructions that the event itself offered no funding for it, so we had to scrape up money from our own pockets for prizes. One woman had $22 in hers, and I had $23 in mine. Nowhere near enough for an event that maybe a thousand people were attending.
And I still needed to pay to rent linens for my bed. Apparently that fee wasn't included in event costs either.
