I have my own Moody Monday post written.  Several, actually.  It's hard to keep up with the increasing cycle of doom.  Today, though, I'll let other people cover COVID-19 for me.

If video is your style, then this 10-minute YouTube video presents what you need to know if your goal is to stop transmission:
Also about stopping transmission, this article from Johns Hopkins:
"Preventing Airborne Spread of Covid-19 and Other Respiratory Diseases"
(although this is primarily a vascular disease, not respiratory)

If you prefer a good read, then this essay is written much better than I write.  It's long but worthwhile.

A shorter version predicts consequences like I see ahead of us:
“If we don't stop this, if it's continuous the way it is, we will have potentially a magnitude of most of the population at some point developing some long COVID symptoms,” Kogan says.
- "How Many People Have Long COVID? The Statistics Are ‘Pretty Scary’", US News

Stay safe out there.  Keep masking, keep isolating, keep filtering enclosed air spaces.  It's been 2.5 years already, but this party is just getting started.
