the jobhunt continues... slowly

My favorite place to look is ClimateBase, which specializes in companies working on environmental climate change issues. I'd like to help those efforts. Unfortunately, it suffers the same problem as the big sites (like LinkedIn) that job postings initially identified as "Remote" aren't actually remote jobs. Very frustrating. It'd be nice if I could find something at Minnesota Council Of Non-Profits, but I don't remember if I've ever seen a remote job listed there, accurately or not.

I got a rejection letter last week. That's not unusual. What's unusual is that I didn't recognize the name of the company. I searched through old emails to find if there was some earlier reference. It turns out that I applied on June 24th, and I finally got rejected on December 29th. It took half a year to progress to failure. *laugh*

So, the job hunt continues... slowly. I spent an hour looking at dead ends already this morning. Time for a mental respite. Maybe play some Baldur's Gate 3 while the snow lightly falls, as the predicted snow storm finally arrives?
