I've heard that phrase before. It's a much more polite version of "drinking the kool-aid" that conveys a similar message about the dangers of echo chambers on our thinking. The retreat from Dilbert has gone mainstream. Somebody made a sarcastic Dilbert comic to commemorate this event. :)
P.S. Wow. This episode of Robot Chicken aired just a few weeks (2022 Mar 07) before the Uvalde massacre (2022 May 24). That police-Dogbert line is really prophetic. The point of the whole episode was to make fun of Scott Adam's racism.
