lillies on a hot morning

I managed to sleep 2 hours late today, on my "weekend". My body and mind feel better already.

I took my usual micro-route bus to the big grocery store this morning. I'll walk to the local asian grocery for produce, after they open today. It already feels hot outside. An app on my phone (on the ride back home after shopping) told me it was 28C/83F. In the morning. The forecast was previously for rather high temperatures to continue, but the storm yesterday seems to have cooled things off nicely. We got a substantial amount of rainfall, at last.

While I waiting on the bus to arrive at my house earlier, I took this photo. It shows some nice lilly blooms in my front yard, with the newly painted door frame in the background.

Not showing is the extra work that went into both door frames. I bought a small tub of "plastic wood". I needed to fill in gaps around the frames before painting primer on them. I used up almost the whole tub, because some of those gaps were not minor. I'll need to buy another small tub for when I finally work on the other windows on the house. Slowly but surely, I guess, it's getting done.
