P.S. I know I'm oversimplifying the "ceremony" bit, but the electoral college is a weird part of USA government process. New York electoral votes all went to Harris anyway, but a ruling in their favor here means there is reasonable doubt about the justification of electoral votes at other impactful states. Shorthand: the ceremonial electoral count was flawed.
