I really want out

I've lived in a different America from many Americans. I'm familiar with some ugly truths about the "home of the free".

I guess now I know why a local company in Anoka is providing 450 millions rounds of ammunition to the Department of Homeland Security. The national government seems to be preparing for civil war, and it seems timed with the Occupy movement's focus on corporate unsustainability?
In a separate matter, local independent media have released video footage that seems to show that Minnesota police are peacefully taking people (who volunteer) from the local Occupation site to give them drugs seized from other cases, then ask them about the Occupation. Additionally, they are taking people already high on drugs from their own sources, questioning them, then dropping them off at the local Occupation site(s) in Minneapolis. Both moves are brilliant tactics. The ethics, however, are abhorrent. Some police are barely pretending to uphold laws any more in their effort to find (or create) reasons to arrest their local political activists.
I want out. I expect things to fall apart in the U.S.A., and I do not want to be here when it happens.

- I've been stalked (I learned afterwards) by an angry homophobe who was waiting for the right moment to hurt/kill me. Luckily, after a few weeks, his hatred resolved itself peacefully rather than violently.
- I've been threatened by a presumed Klansman, but police talked with him and convinced him that it would be a bad thing for him if I ended up dead.
- I've had one homophobe cause me to lose a job. It led to me signing paperwork that my boss handed to me, with me not understanding they were voluntary resignation papers. He did not explain them that way.
- I've had another homophobe supervisor reduce my hours to 25% of normal immediately after he learned I was gay.
