slow but steady
2020-Jun-06, Saturday 03:10 pmThere's no curfew in Minneapolis, for the first time in a week. I was woken by 4 gunshots just before 4am this weekend, so I guess that's a good sign that we're back to usual here in the #WarzoneInminneapolis.
I got a few more hours of gardening done today. Such slow progress, such very slow progress. The wilderness grows faster than I contain it. No wonder a neighbor left me an old lawnmower as a gift for my back yard. LOL On the plus side, I've seen the various bees and other flying critters enjoying what's currently in bloom. My yard is mostly for them, anyway.
I splurged and bought a pallet of 16"x16" patio bricks. I will finally segment the front yard the way I've intended for a long time. They should be delivered on Tuesday. I do want my yard to be something that humans enjoy too, not regret. This conversion would go a lot faster if I could just hire someone else to do it, like a normal person. It always seems weird to me that I could instantly double my income if I either worked fulltime or married someone. That's not my route, though.
So I continue, slow but steady.
