Back in 2018, after I figured out that the oral CBD drops didn't help me at all, I did some quick math on the concentrations of CBD in available products. A theoretically 100% pure CBD oil product (no dilution) would be more expensive per ounce than gold.
That pretty much answered my questions about why it was promoted everywhere. :(
