People toss around the 44b a lot but it was all fiat. It's not like he literally burned down a city or something. He lost nothing, his life will not change. The actual damage is to all the people who relied on twitter for a livelihood, both directly in twitter jobs and indirectly like sex workers. It remains to be seen what the actual damage will be. That has only started.
