Yet another correction... I think that first time he gave me Zovirax instead of Valtrex, but it's still acyclovir and worked its miracle treatment.
Yes, I've tried lysine capsules before and it seemed to make a small difference. Nothing nearly as dramatic as the pharmaceuticals though. I'll look into the toothpaste option.
