The pace at work picked up again, and my spare mental attention has dropped again. *sigh*

I had my 9-month review with my supervisor today. The 3rd quarter (3-month) scores were amusingly high. My supervisor said they triple-checked to make sure they had the right reports and parameters. On a 5-point scale from end user customer reviews received, my scores were the following.

  • Courtesy: 5.0 (of 32 reviews)
  • Knowledge: 4.97 (of 32 reviews)
  • Quality: 4.93 (of 30 reviews)
  • Q/A score of 100% by coworker evaluations of my tickets

That's as close to "perfect" as anyone could reasonably hope to get. That's... nice, considering how stressed I am over the quantity and massive variety of work.

In unrelated news, we finally had snow in Minneapolis. I shoveled several times in recent days, both during my lunch break and after my work shift. It's nice finally to see the snow that should have been there on the ground for the past 4 months.

The downside, however, is that I got no opportunity to see the predicted geomagnetic storm due to cloudy skies. Some lucky people received a beautiful sight, but apparently it was mostly a lackluster auroral display. Not that I could see much from metro light pollution anyway, but I'd still like to try.
