Aww, that's sweet that someone took the time to stop and compliment your yard. That's so sweet! And yay for chickens! I love my goats but they're a handful, so I doubt I'll ever have more in the future. My chickens, though, are much less likely to take out my shins, so I see them being part of my homestead for the foreseeable future. It's nice being able to offer eggs to my friends for free and to my co-workers for a much-lower-than-retail price.
