The sidewalk in front of the house where I was raised in WV was poured by the WPA in 1936. It was over 70 years old the last time I saw it, and it hadn't cracked yet. Let's hope if they do start up something like this again, that they have the same work ethic and attention to quality they had back then. I'd like to be optimistic, but I doubt that will be the case.
