MRI neck scans

Here's a sample image from a Canadian website that I found via Google search. I welcomed that image to confirm the "blurring" on the backward side of the neck. I'm not sure what causes that effect. Maybe it's tight neck musculature there, where the muscle mass blurs the readings? There's also a lump of flesh on the back as they have the patient arch their neck slightly and scoot downwards before the procedure.
Here are 2 images from different series that they took of my neck. They seem very comparable to the sample image. These images were saved in DICOM format, so I just took screenshots as their software rendered the data to my pc screen.
I see some slight bulging in the middle neck vertebrae. I see a strange parallel stripe on the back of the spinal column. I don't know what that might be.
I still have blood test results to receive. I still have an EMG that they will do on my muscles in a few weeks.
More waiting.

The brain scan was fun and had no effect, but the neck scan was different. All day long, I've had occasional flashes of hot/tingly/sore at various places along my spine but mostly up top where the scan was focused. These flashes are similar to the hotness during the scan but more brief.
On the way back from Bear Coffee tonight, I stopped at Walmart to buy some Nyquil. I want something to dull these weird twinges and put me to sleep. I hope to be sound asleep 30 minutes from now and then not wake up until dawn. :)
