Anytime Fitness?

Have any locals joined Anytime Fitness?  What's the monthly price?  I checked their website, but apparently they don't quote prices because of the usual advertisement/deal/bargain focus that I dislike so much in every gym.  Still, there's one of these places just a few blocks away, so I'd like to at least consider it.  What do you pay each month?

LA Fitness is $40/month. They really wanted me back after I canceled, so I'm in at $20/month, so some negotiation is clearly possible.

$40/month makes it seem like buying (used) equipment would be better.

That whole "negotiation" thing is why I don't even want to talk to these people. I'd much rather have a price actually be something.

It's starting to sound like your best exercise options is cleaning out the basement. Strength training from lifting and carrying, aerobics from sweeping and dusting.
