voting 2008: last post

I think this post will be my last one on livejournal until after the election results are in.

Just a reminder, research people before you vote for them. Seriously. Research first. Especially for posts that are non-partisan, like judicial elections are here in Minnesota.

• One guy wants to be elected to the state supreme court. Check out his biblical webpage that majorly sets off my "zealot" alarm.

Research, ya hear.

For folk in Minnesota, I recommend the League of Women Voters website. Just enter your zipcode then your street address. You can get links to the website of almost every candidate on your ballot. Also, this site has some info on only the judge contests.

Be sure to vote!  Oh, and don't be a wuss about the long lines. ;)
