bored... or something
2009-Apr-25, Saturday 07:15 pmI haven't had much of a "groove" today.
I'm in the mood to do something, but I don't know what. I won't be going to the Bear Bar Night tonight. I don't have any more spare dirt to garden in, so I didn't do that today to cheer me up. I watered everything, and I saw sprouts coming up in lots of places. I hate to disturb the dirt, though, in case other sprouts are working their way up. So I swept dust, pebbles, and leaves out of the garage. *twiddle* Even watching television wasn't very satisfying.
I'm usually okay with being poor, but today it sure would be convenient to have money to waste on entertainment. Maybe I should make a trip to the zoo tomorrow since I have my free pass to get in. I just have to pay for gasoline for the long ride out there and back... and also hope that nobody calls my pager from work while I'm there. *grrrr*
It doesn't help when thoughts of someone else intrude. (He did once spontaneously offer to loan me a book of his to read. I like that kind of stuff! But he never followed through by bringing the book. *sigh* So, no, that kind of lax oversight is a reliable indicator that he does not share my interest.) I'll be glad when spring is over and then both this hormonal issue and my allergies will subside. I have projects I need to work on, but instead I'm posting here and showcasing the randomness that has been my mind for the past week or so. Antihistamines are never good for my thought process.
I did make pizza today. It was good. Pictures and recipe tomorrow. Maybe.
