they added barbed wire

On the drive home from work, I took an alternate path that led by the 4th precinct station again.  I photographed it (pictured here) previously on Saturday.  Since Saturday, they filled that empty space between the two concrete barriers with barbed wired.

There are now coils of barbed wire behind barricades surrounding the 4th precinct station in Minneapolis.

Here are a few choice quotes from the U.S. Declaration of Independence:

• "That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,--That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

It looks like somebody finally realizes that they don't have the consent of the governed any more.

Our systems must change.
