I slept through several hours of this afternoon, trying during my "weekend" to catch up on my sleep debt. I didn't hear the historic news as it happened.

Trump was convicted.

I know, technically, it means Trump was found guilty of falsifying business records to conceal a hush money payment. Still, though, I have about as much interest in Trump's sexual escapades (and coverups for them) as I did in Clinton's. Let's please skip to the parts where we decide in court as facts that politics was corrupted and the authority of government was abused. There are many more accusations to charge and adjudicate, and they have much more significance to the history and future of the USA.
