mellowtiggerDriving home today, the thermometer in the car dashboard went from 41.1C/106F to 36.6C/98F while the vehicle was moving. I never saw it lower than that. I don't have air conditioning, so it was a hot ride home.
I intended to do some more gardening after work, but... no. Instead, I'll just sit inside and cope. I have a window a/c unit upstairs, and I just sit still in the living room and enjoy the cooler air flowing down the stairway from my bedroom.
The remnants of a tropical storm are heading northward. It's not clear yet if any cloud cover from that storm will reach us here in Minneapolis this week.
