mellowtiggerThere are so many other topics that I'd rather write about, but they all require more time and effort and words. So here's what is available in short form.
I went to my 3rd rehabilitation session yesterday. My shoulder is improving slowly. At this pace, it may still be months before I'm back to normal. The persistent pain has switched away from my left shoulder socket or the "flu shot" point near there. It's now at the top part of my shoulder blade nearest the spine. The physical therapist says that's one of the actuator muscles. I think that's the word they used. Anyway. Slow but steady progress.
In unrelated news, social media is aflame with video of USA conservatives wheeling a golden Trump statue wearing USA flag shorts to the CPAC convention. This tweet pretty much sums up everyone's reaction:
I've been very clear about my opinions. You know how I feel about the idolization of wealth, the contempt for society, and the viciousness of maintaining the propaganda of superiority.
Conservatives voters used their authority to approve candidates in this platform, both in the last election and during the last several decades. They chose their morality. They chose their fate in history. That was their power and their decision.
It's up to the rest of us to choose differently and oppose them (9-minute YouTube video).

Yeah, funding priorities. Somehow, government can always find more money to benefit the rich and never ask how we're going to pay for it.
