Everquest2 has still been enjoyable to play. Tonight, the teeny tiny guild of GLBT folk that I play in actually had 6 people online at the same time. Huge! *laugh* I managed to get 3 of us in a group, even. That was a nice experience for a change.

Meanwhile, I remembered that Spore Creature Creator was supposed to be on sale this weekend in stores. So I went online and downloaded the free preview version. Within minutes, I went online to order the full thing. It's already impressive, and this is just the creature editor, not the actual game. (That's due in September.)  While ordering my game, though, I noticed two things. 1) "E-commerce hosting and data processing services are provided by Digital River Inc.." and 2) "pre-ordered release date: Wed Jun 18 12:00:00 CDT 2008".

Oh, hey, that's where my roommatejoshuwain works. Oh, hey... *glance at clock*... it's the 18th right now!

But the Spore website defies my wishes! It says I pre-ordered, yet it prevents me from digitally downloading my purchase. Argh! I wonder if I could go pound on joshuwain  's door at 2am and get him to fix it for me? }:)

Oh well.  I really should be sleeping instead of doing this:

All my toons are guildless at the moment. I've been through 4 guilds in that past year now and I'm about sick of it. Guilds only seem to be good for drama and leaders who are control freaks. The leader of the guild I just left (who is a necromancer) would let almost no mages in his raids (I guess so he and the other raid leader, also a mage, could get all the mage loot), and he outright said he doesn't let conjurors in HIS raids, and since my main is a conjuror that didn't sit well with me. So, here I am flying solo again.

Come on over to Antonia Bayle. ;) We don't actively prevent anybody from doing anything, we're just too small to raid. *laugh*

Seriously, though, one of the chat channels last night was filled with voices talking about how well populated our server is as folk were logging in just to see the new void storms. (Go to your local mage guild and look at the Void Cloak available on the new vendor there. Pretty shiny toy!)

Their servers are slow about updating. "No images have been uploaded by this character" for all 4 of your links in their Media tab.

It seems like it's been 2 weeks since Larell hit 80 Alchemist, but my page still shows me at 79. *shrug*
