not selling yet

I had a good conversation today with the realtor who helped me get into this house at the start of his realty career.
Because I still owe almost $40K on my house, I will not be selling right now. The profit numbers are close, but they are just not quite to the point that makes a decision easy. So it's a "no go" for now. I'll reconsider in the spring, which gives me some time to deal with the small things that need fixing. I was already driving myself bonkers with the sudden need for planning, so this pause is very good for my health.
But that still leaves me frustrated with my current job and needing to make some kind of change. I guess I'll continue with the job hunting. For now, though, I'm done with the planning stress and will be taking a break for a few days from all the pondering.
I need to make progress on the yard, so maybe I'll just focus on that for a while. Consider these reasons for wanting to stay:

I need to make progress on the yard, so maybe I'll just focus on that for a while. Consider these reasons for wanting to stay:
- Yesterday, some people older than me walked by and stopped to say they liked my yard. "It always looks so natural."
- A week or two ago, a child squealed and I jumped up to look at the street, expecting a problem. Instead, I saw a girl on a bicycle pointing at my yard and yelling, "Look, mom! I like the flowers!"
