How about a little good news? Or cool news? Either way.
Dogs are amazingly accurate at detecting SARS-CoV-2 infection, even amongst asymptomatic people. Imagine someday when we get olfactory chips that can detect disease simply by blowing an air vent over someone. Cool idea!Desktop air curtains are very effective at blocking aerosol transmission for activities that require direct customer interaction. The study goes into a bit more detail. This is great stuff! It means there's a way forward that won't completely eliminate socially interactive duties. For example, helping people in person with their tech devices. :)
Yes, SARS-CoV-2 will continue to color life for years to come. That persistence can still prompt something nice, though. Necessity, and all that.
