sinus infection

The owners of this house (before I started renting here) used railroad ties to mark off one area of the back yard. Between carpenter ants and an invasive shrub next door, though, there wasn't much left of any of them any more. Two of them even had to be scooped out with a shovel because there was nothing to grab onto. [personal profile] foeclan (one of the current house owners) and I spent the last two weeks getting them dug up and hauled away.

Meanwhile, I could tell that my sinuses were acting up. I figured it was just mold in the wood since this isn't typically my allergy season. A few days ago, I started taking over-the-counter allergy medicines to try clearing out my sinuses.   No luck. Yesterday I noticed the infection. Worse today. Not a significant fever yet, but I figure that will arrive soon if I don't quickly clear all of those air passages. *sigh*

I hope it's just mold reaction.  It would be very unfortunate if I've developed a new allergy.

I think there's a bottle of nasal spray in the medicine cabinet. I never got around to opening it, so feel free to use it.
