no unemployment checks

mellowtiggerI got the letter yesterday. I knew Minnesota would deny unemployment since I "chose" to quit, but it was still disappointing to see it in print. Safe work environments are irrelevant, I guess. It was only a potential total of $11,492, which isn't much as life goes in the USA, but it still would have made it easier to wait for the right job.
It was also disappointing to hear the #UrgencyOfNormal during one of the required training sessions. A facilitator online said something like we would eventually past the pandemic restrictions and everything would be back to normal. It won't. Not ever, I think. Our government is unprepared to face the reality of now and our future.
