mellowtiggerA decade ago, when the Walking Dead zombie show was popular, there was an after-the-episode talk show called Talking Dead. I found parts of it as entertaining as the original tv episode they would discuss and review.
Similarly, the recent Heated Rivalry hubbub has some straight hockey men on YouTube reviewing the gay tv series... and they're another unusual break-out hit show. They're available at the Empty Netters channel (episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6). Their typical videos are about actual hockey news, which I never would have been tempted to watch. They started watching the new gay show without having read the books beforehand. They react hilariously to the characters, the hockey details, and the explicit sex from the tv series.
Like them, I haven't read the books. I haven't even seen the show. But watching these straight guys enjoy the tv series is itself an enjoyable vicarious adventure.
