Well, I found a job, and I've been ever-so-slowly getting out of debt.  On my current payment schedule, I should be able to finish that project in December 2009.  That's a good thing.  I still can't afford to get sick, have T'Reese get sick, have car trouble, or have my computer fail again.  I still have no money to visit a doctor/repairman for any of these issues.

So 2008 was indeed better than 2007, but it was far from a great year.  I'd like to have a great year sometime before my years are over, but I don't mind too much since I'm at least moving in the right direction again.

2008 certainly was an "interesting" year, to quote from an old Chinese curse.

I certainly hope 2009 is a sweet year for you and Mister or Miss Cat.

Strangely, my credit limit was increased. Well, maybe not so strangely, since I've been making 3-4 X my minimum monthly payment since I've been employed. Still, I don't get paid much, so it'll take until December to pay off the rest of the $3k still on the credit card.

Having been in a debt before, and yet again, I can certainly relate to debt servicing. When my income goes down this month, we'll have to move to be able to keep up with our expenses...

Wow, I am sorry to learn 2008 was such a bad year for you Terry! However, it is so good you say and feel you are in the right track and your debts would end on 2009. a year goes flying! HAPPY NEW YEAR MY DEAR FRIEND! Luis. :o)
