Queer Women's March

I'd guess that there were over 200 people there tonight at 9pm. Very impressive turnout, considering the hour and the weather. When I got home and checked weather.com, it said that we were at 1F/-17C (-13F/-25C windchill). It was mostly women attending, but I was glad to see the male gender represented too. Of those, I'd guess half were gay men, but I don't really know for sure.
I knew of two people who said online that they'd be there, but I couldn't recognize anyone buried underneath all the winter clothing.
I got there 30 minutes early and got a hot chocolate at the Dunn Brothers who "hosted" the event in their parking lot as the starting/ending area for the walk. I could only get one photograph. It was just too dark, cold, and numbing to try for any real photos. I managed to snap only a small group of people in my picture.
Nobody looked like the photo on the flyers. There's probably a sociology paper to be found somewhere in that discontinuity.

I bought a chemical light stick that they had available at the start of the march. The poor thing couldn't keep up with the cold temperature though. It was hardly noticeable. *sigh* Plenty of people would honk their car horns at us in approval as they drove by. I'd wave my dim light stick at them in response.
