not according to plan

It has not been a good week.

Wed & Thu: I took these days off from work.  I stayed home sick.  After stopping all allergy medication, I got an illness with a very slight fever and a very painful headache.

Fri: I found out that our funding for NoLAR was denied by our source from previous years.

Sat: I was intending to visit dome homes in the Minneapolis area, but I stayed home instead.  I wanted to be sure my illness from earlier this week was really gone before going out to the AIDS Walk.

Sun: I went into the garden yesterday and stepped on something painful.  I easily saw the splinter in my foot.  None of it was above the skin, unfortunately.  I tried using a needle to dig it out, but I was not successful.  I put Neosporin on it, then I waited overnight to see what it was like in the morning.  It's painful to step on it.  I won't be attending the AIDS Walk today.

I slept about 4 hours last night.  Is it time yet for something to happen according to plan?

Sorry you are having a bad time and especially sorry that I have not been much help at all with Nolar. I think about it a lot though, but I guess that does not help. I'm just not good at planning things. I was thinking that if I had had ahead of time, a list of 20 steps, in choronological order, of things you need to do to make Nolar happen, I could do them one by one. It's coming up with the steps that is hard for me and prioritizing them is hard too. And I need someone to be talking to about it too.

Do you know who else we can ask for funding or do you know who might know who else we can ask? Maybe it's the economy?

What exactly are dome homes?

I hope you are able to find someone to help you get the thing out of your foot that you stepped on. And I hope things get better. Sometimes when things are so bad, they can only get better, right? :)
