global warming: 2007 ties for 2nd place

I recently found this NASA site that explains some of what they do to measure and track global temperature data. The graphs there show the unfortunate long-term trend. They posted yesterday the results of 2007, and we tied for 2nd place with 1998.

Locally, Minnesota recently experienced unusual above-freezing weather for several days in a row.  We're back to normal subzero (fahrenheit) weather now.  Weather.com forecasts Saturday morning sunrise to be -11F with -30F windchill.    *brrrrr*
