If locals are looking for an excuse to spend a few bucks (*laugh*), Monday is the night for the next movie in the October series at the Heights Theater.
Tonight's event will be "The Incredible Shrinking Man" (1957).
I plan to walk there later. Show starts promptly at 7:30pm.
--------------- So close - the infinitesimal and the infinite. But suddenly, I knew they were really the two ends of the same concept. The unbelievably small and the unbelievably vast eventually meet - like the closing of a gigantic circle. ---------------
Gah! I goofed. Tonight's movie was The Invisible Man (1933) instead. Guess I'll try to make it (if the work pager allows) next Monday for the movie I was intending to see tonight.
Yes, it's a great theater. It's owned by a gay man who has an extensive collection of reels. There are lots of classic old movies to be seen here for one-night-only events. :)
