Why not make a company that can create replacement panels for various automobiles out of recycled (and recycleable again) plastics? In Minnesota (and probably coastal states too) there's a lot of salt-induced rust that could be solved by plastic. Even if the color was not an exact match, it'd still look and perform better than rusted out holes. Or does somebody already do this?

Date: 2008-Feb-23, Saturday 09:18 pm (UTC)Kauko (my lvl 80 conjurer)
Kivutar (lvl 74 fury)
Jouko (lvl 28 Coercer that I may betray to an illusionist)
Tuoni (lvl 29 Shadowknight)
those are my main ones, i have others that I just made out of boredom that I don't really play. But I'm making an effort right now to not play at all as I'm trying to get my real life back in order and i tend to become way too engrossed in EQ2 and all the guild drama has worn me down. I started pulling toons from this guild a few months ago and I finally took them all out last night. This one guild leader viewed the guild as his and he can do whatever he wants no matter who he has to offend to do it. He's been getting worse and worse (and a few of the other guild leaders are more or less on his side). So, basically last night the finally forced him to leave the guild, which I was happy about, and then an hour later the leaders let hiim back in, made him a leader again and acted liek nothing happened. Well, that was it for me, and I left. Now I'm in another more stable guild, but i still paln on taking an extended break from any eq2 and focus on some sorely neglected parts of my life.

Date: 2008-Feb-23, Saturday 09:14 pm (UTC)But I've assembled my own pcs from parts for... I dunno, maybe 15 years. I'll probably continue doing so for many years to come. I get to custom-pick features that I want that way and upgrade only minimal parts as necessary until it's motherboard time again. I got my current motherboard (Intel D865PERL) 5 years ago for its dual parallel/serial hard drive connectors. It was a good transition board as I copied data from old parallel drives onto a new serial drive.
Back in July, I knew exactly what pieces I wanted for $1000. I'll have to review for the latest updates now, though. I think some of these items aren't even available today.
