Following up on a recent post where I mentioned the need for #LongCovid activism, I spent a few days at home preparing a new website with an address that is very easy to remember and share:
I'm such a naughty curmudgeon. I sincerely hope to see people in plague masks in city centers around the country/world, holding up signs demanding journalist and government response to the bullet points from this webpage. I've already started looking for a plague mask of my own. I found this one (expensive) that even allows extra room for people who wear eyeglasses, like me.
It took more effort than I care to admit to get the Twitter preview page and Google Analytics working. At least, I think they're both working. In your browser, you can View Page Source to see what I've done. It's very simplistic. I favor that approach.
Meanwhile, I'm sitting at home protecting the many stitches in my back from the cyst removal, nursing the broken molar with the exposed filling, and isolating due to 2 days of officially notified COVID-19 exposure in the office last week. *SIGH* At least I tested negative yesterday (at the 5-day mark). I'll test again tomorrow (at the 7-day mark). Of course, I was double-masked and running my tiny little air filter on my office cubicle desk the whole time I was there. The point is that everyone should be doing that, not just me.
